The schedule for this trip got moved more than three times. It finally got settled after all my commitments are done. Did not attend the office Christmas party because of this. Got a clean bill of health from SATA - the Singapore community health service in Bedok. Obtained my social pass after paying 200 Sing dollars. Spent Christmas with Malmen and traveled abroad for the first time with a family member - it was difficult but hey, we both survived but really, I'll think more than four times before doing it again.
Regret that the most memorable part of this trip was not captured in camera - spent my last night in Singapore with Cecille. We had a wonderful dinner, endless conversations and just basking in the night scene of the city while sitting in the open stage of the Esplanade.
Note to self: This description is a reminder of what was not captured. We were just too involved and excited that I forgot to bring my camera and she forgot to charge her mobile, ;(

ReplyDeletewe did it din sa thailand-cambodia-vietnam. eh, diba if not for your lecture in bangkok, pwede pa tayong mag Laos sana? hayaan mo, when you go back gagawin natin - gusto mo ba ng thailand-myanmar-thailand-laos (by land)? di daw pwede ang laos, myanmar and bangladesh by land eh. or sa EU na lang kung mag-phd ka at dalawin ko kayo ng mga kids mo.
alam mo bang ziyan keeps on giving me belgian chocolates every time umuuwi si ben? third time na itong christmas visit niya, kaya i commented, "how come bumait na talaga sa akin ang tatay ninyo?" then, parang nag-slip sila ni ate yna and na discern ko na silang 2 lang ni zing ang nag-de-decide na bigyan ako ng belgian chocolates at sinasabing pinabibigya ni tatay! kala ko pa naman - bumait na sa akin si ben, hehehe!
ayrton is getting taller! i told him - bryan might look like ben physically but with his attitude and angsty-angsty persona - mas kamukha na siya ng tatay niya.
