After years and years of wanting, planning and dreaming of going to see the angkor temples - finally got to be there with Lea. We both dreamed of seeing the temples after graduating from college, ;).
Can't think much of how to describe this album but the feeling is akin to the runner finishing a race, the student publishing a thesis and the actor seeing the curtains down.
this is my favorite temple... bayon temple!
ReplyDeletei saw this pic in one of the web sites i browsed when i was planning our IT. ganda ng angle!
ReplyDeletefunny - pero pareho tayo ng favorite temple - kasi andoon ang libraries.
ReplyDeletelea loved ta phrom kasi nga nasa tomb raider daw and she needs to show to her kids na andoon siya. besides temple daw siya for those seeking wisdom. gusto ko rin sya kasi first temple namin - fresh pa ang aming legs and excited talaga. by the time we got to the angkor wat - gusto ko ng tapusin ang lahat - sobrang tired ko na - all the travelling and yung exasperation of trying not be conned by people. although ayaw ko namang tignan yung mga pangyayari in the negative light. parati kong ni-re-remind kaming dalawa ni lea all throughout the cambodian leg na we earn money naman - sobrang cheap na nga ang services and commodities sa country so fair na rin....
did you climb one of the towers? we did! :-)
ReplyDeleteyes, at ngayon meron ng option to use the wooden stairs - pero yung bang adventurous talaga - they climb pa rin the usual way. ngayon meron na kasing mga wooden stairs and madali na lang umakyat....checked out your cambodia travel pics sa blogspot mo noong napapadpad ako at nadiscover ang multply site mo last week yata....
ReplyDeleteEy, I like this picture, parang hindi tayo napagod. siguro, parang feeling natin dito: what a relief, nakaupo din, at natapos natin ang lahat ng iyon, with time to spare. he he he.
ReplyDeleteASTIG! pupunta din ako dyan! nextyear! hmpf!
