Melissa played host to the 2005 JDS Philippines grantees in Kansai for our first Christmas celebration in Japan.
Nova hosted the 2006 New Year Celebration in Kyoto. She was also our guide in the temple and shrine hopping.

Boys Over Flowers
Just when I'm thinking of completely giving up on watching kdramas - they came up with their version on HYD. With two episodes already shown - I must say that I'm hooked. Well, I would have stayed even if the version completely sucks. I'm glad that I don't have to endure that because this has 24 episodes. Guilty though of preconditioning my mind that they couldn't make anything better from the 2005 Japanese version. More surprising is that in the Taiwanese and Japanese versions, I'm a Hua Ze Lei/Hanazawa Rui fan. In fact, it took the rain scenes in both versions before I even accepted Dao Ming Si/Domyouji Tsukasa. Here in BOF, I took an immediate liking to this character just when he was introduced: Gu Jun-pyo
